In terms of cost, APNL (Association of Psychologists of Newfoundland and Labrador) recommends a rate of $235. However I am offering a rate of $225 (a bit less than the recommended rate because I understand times are hard for everyone and, at the same time, I don't want to move too far away from the recommended rate). This is payable at the start of the session via credit card or e-transfer. You will be provided with a receipt to claim reimbursement from your insurer or for an income tax deduction.
I am registered with Blue Cross Insurance, Sunlife, and other insurance providers as well as with the Nunatsiavut government. While I don't provide direct billing, most insurance companies will provide coverage for psychological services. In addition, many of them have convenient online platforms where you can submit your receipts and get reimbursed promptly.
